Good stuff to know. I'm with you, but the setup isn't on a frame as such.. i've thrown this worktop onto bracket shelving spurs.. the longest ones just catch some of the outermost plank, and as those batons are weak.. that plank is separating slightly with the load (and with warp). By the time i get around to stripping and resanding where neccessary, hopefully i'll have the router and can try out some of these methods. This has been interesting, thank you!
