My friend gets the error code E9 on his display and the hot water goes cold.
He was advised to check the pressure and its sitting at 1.5bar.
The fault is intermittent.
Any help would be most appreciated, thanks...

e9 is the safety temp circuit tripping, are there any zone valves etc away from the boiler, is there underfloor heating etc

could be a seized pump or too slow (touch the pump does it vibrate)
also safety stats on the boiler. If the temp rises too quickly it gives an e9 fault!

is it under warranty, if so get wb out hope this helps
