so I said the other day about kettling noises in the boiler, i pus some cleanser in the system today to give it a head start before adding silencer+inhibitor.

on standing next to the boiler while making something to eat i noticed for the 1st time ever that the pump stopped while the heating demand was still on?!?! took the case off, and the boiler actually fired up for maybe only 1 secont before i heard the tinyest buzz while the pump started up.

Im guesting the only thing on that boiler that can cause the pump to drop out while demand is present is the PCB relays?

Eh NO put your probes on boiler they can stop by themselves even though they have 240 going to them.... worcester 240 could have magnetically driven (smc) pump which are sh#te

Im going to a 240 this week that intermittantly overheats. I believe its the pump sticking as flow and return temps are ok, pump over run does its job and no problems when running hw.

Going to put a pump overrun stat in just incase but think the pump will solve issue
