Written contract with builder

Not sure if this is in the correct place but we are going to have a loft conversion done and wondered where is the best place to get a contract for me and builder to sign so we both know where we stand etc.

Not sure what you mean with 'best place' but normally your builder should sent you an order confirmation detailing works and all other matters discussed. You sign the form - presto.

Sorry, meant anywhere online that you can print off a standard sort of agreement to sign rather than just having a verbal one.

Templates like that in this case are IMHO useless. If your builder is up to scratch he will have his own templates suited for his business and your job.

Once you have agreed a price based upon a drawing and/or detailed specification supplied, then you will have your 'contract'.
