Wrong paint on lime render

A few years ago the previous owners painted the house with a "breathable" paint. The house is lime rendered and it was the wrong paint for the lime.

The paint is now peeling off in places and I have begun to clear an area.

What are my options as my budget is not high enough to replace the render on the house.

Any advice would be appreciated.
