I have a hsa3500 alarm system fitted in my house, I am thinking of buying another siren to place at the back of the house. Would my system run 2 sirens? If its possible do I just add a device to the system?
Check the manual, not familiar with Yale, but I know some of there systems allow multipul sirens and it states in the manuals what needs to be done and if its possible.
The reason is (I'm anthropomorphising) that the control panel sends out a signal saying "hello, this is control panel no. ABC1234. Siren please sound."
The panel has no knowledge of what sirens can hear it.
The siren, when learned into the controller, was told "Obey orders from control panel no. ABC1234." The siren has no knowledge of any other sirens.
The sirens do not have transmitters, so they do not send a confirmation back to the control panel.
Same as the BBC transmitters do not know how many people have their radios turned on and listening to it. If any.
