Put the code in?

Has the alarm been activated recently? Any battery operated sensors that might have a flat battery? Has it got power?

tell us the model number. The two most popular recent models are HSA6300 AND HSA6400

There are older models that are comparable but not identical, and newer models that are different.

Tell us how old it is and how long it worked for before this happened. Have you got the instruction book?

on the control panel, press the disarm key (green open padlock) then put in your code

You may have to do it several times.

The keyfob will not (depending on alarm model) stop an alarm caused by a Burglar sensor.

You did not say if the outdoor or indoor sirens are hooting.
Once you have cleared the "Alarm!" display you can look at the logs to see which sensor(s) triggered it, and if there is a fault log entry.

If you need to examine any sensors (e.g. to see if they were not tightly fitted and the tamper sensor went, or if the batteries need changing) set Tamper Off first.

so, did you successfully clear the alarm by pressing the green padlock and your code?

What does the log say?

Managed to sort it now - thank you all so much.

Will probably encounter more problems in the future, hopefully, you will all be there with advice.

Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend!!
