I am trying to set up the ENA YALE SMART ALARM PIR. The problem is when I add zone and hit the sync button on the the PIR I select 'normal' then 'full' and then 'instant' however when i hit OK it just brings me back to 'normal' and just keeps doing a loop.

Can someone advise me on what to do please and if anyone has come across this before.

Yep I had this also you need to select normal then for full arm/part arm select what you want e.g instant alarm then when you see that menu again i.e full arm, part-arm scroll down using down arrow key and you will see next then hit ok - should continue from there by adding name and voice tag.

Hope this helps
Ps - let me know if you get remote command by SMS working ( see my thread earlier) as I can't seem to get it working only via GSM phone call.)

Hi thanks for your reply. I will try that later :). I did have a look at your thread earlier and I am also having the exact same problem as yours.
The command box sends me notifications by SMS but I can't send commands by SMS

I got the PIR working thanks.
Did you ever get the SMS working?
I have set the SMS keyword only have 1 zone and type CAR_9889_11_00. CAR being my SMS keyword and 9889 being password and 11 full alarm and 00 confirmation. Still not working.

I'm trying the same exact procedure as you are. I even setup the sms confirm function for +44 format. But nothing happens. Which provider are you using? I've got a Vodafone sim which I just activated but a few guys have mentioned try O2/giffgaff, I can't see how that would make a difference though?
We really need someone to comment who has actually set this alarm up and got the sms command working, the rest is fine.
