Yay she's gone. Who next?

Bit more succinct aj. They know where their bread is buttered.
Nope. They have to deal with reality. Just like dept and the money market. I may not like Sinak's politics but he has shown that he can be flexible. As for instance covid support. He sat down and negotiated that with TUC representatives and other groups to establish meaningful numbers.

That is a very sane approach.

Then comes fantasy politics. No gov can cut taxation until they are obtaining a surplus. He most certainly isn't into that. We seem to be way of a surplus. Who ever gets the job is in a rather tricky situation just as the lot following the next election are likely to be.

I also feel that the fact he is rich a proportion of which is entirely self made is irrelevant. LOL especially when the Tory are in power.Mogg though. Best with his type is chuck them out.

Some footage of Sunak taken today. Doesn't look his normal smiling self. Tight lipped was the description used. Does he want the job?

Sunak's BBC numbers are up more that Boris but Boris supporters say they have over 100. The Sunak lot say declare who you are then. Boris is at 50 declared.

Guido has Boris at 70 but it's hardly moved today.
For the good of the Party, and indeed the country, the sensible thing to do would be Boris (the election winner/lovable rogue/charmer) as PM with Rishi (sound chancellor/stabilising influence) as chancellor.

Rishi knows if he goes head to head with Boris the Party membership will go with Boris.

Maybe they could come to some sort of arrangement like Blair and Brown, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Rishi and Boris aren't enjoying a meal at the Granita in Islington as we 'speak'.

None of that rubbish is good for the country, or even the Tory party.

How much support did Boris have when he was FORCED out of office?

Who has been proved right since ? Especially with the Truss show? It wasn't Boris was it.

Why are you so easily fooled ?

Actually there are reasons to question that. It's another unknown.

A worry about Boris is say the final pair is these and Sunak has more votes. He would be asked to step down and they think he wouldn't.

Did you know that Moody has just downgraded the UK's credit rating.

He's posted a stupid shot taken with a mobile phone. Said to be phoning for support, then another with his thumb up. The bloke looks a wreck.

Yes I did, Italy have have a debt to gdp 40% higher than ours and have just elected Mussolini as leader and their credit rating remains unchanged.

Do you not find that a little strange?

Not really. I can see why she was elected, usual popularism that has been rather quiet of late during campaigning. The cabinet she has put together doesn't reflect her previous views. ;) Time will tell. Italy used the highest proportion of Russian gas for power.

Our problem is a budget black hole that the best estimates blame 50% of on the idiot who wants to play at being Thatcher. Who I can safely say you helped put in power.

Moody probably just concider the black hole as even 50% of it is still a lot.

69 MPs in Johnson’s cabinet resigned
148 vote no confidence in him
he lost North Shropshire, Tory for 200 years.

he really isn’t best for the country.
