Yay she's gone. Who next?

Hmmm. The chancellor had a meeting with fund managers and Mogg on budget day, then some people trigger a selling of the pound, then some people start buying it back cheap.
Hmmmm.

Since then, he's blamed everybody other than the budget for the problems, which is odd in itself.
I guess he didn't amass 100 million quid by putting either the people or the country first.

All hear say

Conspiracy theory waffle

I will take it with a pinch of salt

The trouble is, the choices are limited to existing British politicians.

Also, let's get someone that's not some deranged populist Brexiteer in there and rebuild some bridges with Europe and the US.
Fat chance of that - Boris purged the parliamentary party of all Europhiles, leaving mainly the dim witted, incompetent and fascisti like Braverman. We've now had two PMs who surround themselves with yes men (and yes women). Until we get a PM who understands the need for some intelligent, dissenting voices in Cabinet it will all just continue

And you see the people in here clamouring for him. Who all advocate free speech. As long as it agrees with their view of course.

the whole ultra diversity gov thing didn't work out too well. We're going to need the best person for the job, even if they are middle aged, male, straight and white. Not very cool I know
Another one who argues for meritocracy, except when the successful candidate is from a minority group. Then they claim it must have been because of a diversity factor.
That's tantamount to a white superiority belief, compounded by a misogynistic, heterosexual dogma.

Some people are so bigoted ,they simply don't realise how bigoted they are.

I bet you're dreading the new PM being from a minority group.
There are one or two senior figures from minority groups who we'd be better off without in command: Badenoch - who seems to want to do away with the treasury, Kwarteng - who is sufficiently ignorant and irresponsible the he chose to inflict a disastrous economic experiment on the UK, Patel - who is that weirdest of things, a coloured racist (and a rampant bully), and Braverman - an obnoxious individual who espouses the opinions that the poor are responsible for their plight and deserve no help, and whose fulminations on subjects make Patel look like a goody two shoes (I am sure Adolf would have been proud of her)

That's not to say the white middle aged hegemony is any better with Jacob Rees-Smugg - or the haunted wardrobe who thinks workers should have no rights and be grateful for the scraps they are given, Coffey - who holds similar views about NHS staff, Steve Baker - ERG member and (quite correctly) described on TV as a c@nt, Penny Mordaunt - described by one ex-boss as the least competent person he's ever had on his team, Michael Fabricant - a cheap, second rate Bojo impersonator, and finally the real Bojo - no need to say anything more about that scoundrel

Good grief! I have started to conclude that even Hezza was better than any of this lot. One thing is certain though - white or black a large part of the current Parliamentary Conservative Party are unfit to run a bring and buy stall, let alone a country

Racism is not the preserve of so called white people. There are plenty of racists who aren't "white". Discrimination and prejudice is a human condition. Fear of the different is part of our survival instinct. It takes effort to over come it, no matter what "colour" you are.

What does it say about a person (any person, not just politicians) if they are willing to elevate a serial liar, adulterer, absent father and persistent rule-breaker (criminal) to the highest office in the land? If he runs and gets to the final two with Sunak, the racist blue-rinsers will 'elect' him. "For the good of the country.", they'll say. Jesus!

No supporter of him myself but I guess a lot of people who don't follow politics like him because he's not cut from same cloth as the stuffed shirts.
Trouble he's a dangerous man behind the bluster.
