Why don't we buy oil from America? It has loads of the stuff. With the collapse of Iran, countries are looking at alternatives. King Charles could have raised this subject with Trumpo.

It's the wrong grade and they don't export what we need. Its also moderately expensive.

Iran hasn't collapsed yet by the way, and there's no guarantee it will. Trump has backed down before and probably will again if pushed.

There's a load of the oily stuff under the North Sea.

Sadly most was blown by the boomers, but there's still some left.

Absolutely no sense in leaving it there while importing more from loony countries, creating more emissions in transporting the stuff.
