I must apologise profusely to you. Somehow I have missed this. I am so sorry about your wife.
First, can I say, there is absolutely no right or wrong way to mourn and no time limit within which mourning is completed.
Regarding exercise, there are many that can be done in a chair, moving the arms and legs, using small hand-held weights, or cans of food if you don't have weights.
As regards buying a bungalow, as others have said regarding other decisions, don't be hasty. If your house has a room downstairs suitable for use as a bedroom, you might want to stay put. Are there situations where you might have friends to stay, in which case the upstairs will not be redundant. You'd just need your cleaner to whizz round now and again to keep it tip-top.
I can't access your details, so don't know where you are, but if you are near me, I'd be happy to meet up for a chat in a café or pub.
If you need help, I'd be willing to help out with stuff where I can.
If distance proves too much, the "happy to chat" offer still stands.
My mobile number is in my profile.
