Zafia GSI Smoking

Could anyone assist with a vaxhaul zafira GSI Turbo that smokes sometimes on a trailing throttle (3rd gear). she is using a bit of oil but has no leaks on garage floor, does this sound like valve stem seals or turbo??

I am not an expert on that model but if the vehicle has done a higher mileage then valve stem seals sound most likely.

They seem to be a regular part to replace every 40-50k miles on the Ford Escort!

My Laguna petrol is passing 200k next week but it does not smoke much at all and uses comparatively little oil for a high mileage larger engine.
