Hi,

For the last 6 months, my Zanussi Aquacycle 1300, has slowly stopped spinning. It sometimes turns over, but this is becoming less often.
I got the machine repair man out who checked the brushes and they are fine. The belt was also fine.
He said the only other thing it could be is a faulty pcb which is very expensive to replace. He advised scrapping it and getting a new machine.

Is it likely to be another fault, or shall I just do as he says and scrap it. I don't have a lot of money, so any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks.

If the brushes are fine then the problem is likely to be the pcb or the motor itself.
Both are costly & unless you can verify the motor is good you could risk changing the pcb....only to find it was the motor after all.
Catch 22 :(
