Zanussi ZWF1621 washing machine not spinning

Hi,

Just wondering if some one has any idea why my machine might not be spinning?

The PCN is 914521006

When it's doing a wash the lights above the end light flash several times through out the cycle. When the cycle has finished and the end light is on and i open the machine my washing is still wet, it appears as if it hasn't spun. It i then put it on a separate spin cycle it appears to work.....!

If any one knows anything about this please help??

Could be motor brushes, is it pumping water out OK?

The machine is draining but when on a wash cycle is not spinning. When i put in to the spin option only it will do it....???

Could be the unbalance detection try another load

I've had three loads in the machine and the same has happened with each...!

Have you actually checked the motor brushes???? This machine was produced in 2006...brushes & pumps don't last forever.
While you're at it check the drum for duff bearings/slack.
