Any advise on the best paint for my newly plastered kitchen.
I like the sound of Zinsser Perma White satin which they say is scrubable its going on new plaster skim in kitchen wall and ceiling so will need a new plaster undercoat of course they say to use zinsser bulseye 123 but been reading on here about Optiva Primer could I use that instead of the 123 or should I stick to the same manufacturer

If you are a messy chef who would get food onto the walls, then use special paint. Otherwise, regular paint should be OK. Generally where the wall is splashed, tiles should be used.

Yes we - or I am a messy cook but all areas are protected with tiles and stainless steel. Its just the ability to wipe down the other wall and ceilings. Was looking at Luja 20 by Tikkurila but its not cheap and may be overkill Tikkurila
