Zanussi WJS1397 Power Light On, but won't do anything

Hi everyone had a similar problem with my Zanussi ZWF 1430 s and decided to follow the simple logical steps. Hey presto the door lock has blown but cost £29.99 for new one was a little hasty and ordered just hope the PCB has not blown as well. The door interlock looks much more complicated than the pictures from this forum but clearly burning on the casing and blackened areas.
Is this likely to be just the door? or will it likely have bust the PCB as well?
Door interlock arriving tomorrow so will soon find out.
