I have the chance to do an apprenticeship in either joinery or electrics, and I'm trying to weight up which one I should take.

With my interests being equal in both, which one would be more lucrative and stable in the long run?

Multi-Skill.

I'm an Electrician, and I enjoy being one, but from time to time when I get chance I do find myself doing a bit of carpentry (ok, not quite the same as joinery) and I enjoy that too.

my window-cleaner is a time-served joiner :(

Electricianing opens up lots of related career options

If you have the chance of an apprenticeship grab it with both hands, both feet, and your teeth

Grab the sparking!!

What ever you do if someone comes up to and puts an arm round you and say "have you thought about teaching as a career?"

Run, run for the hills, don't stop for anything or anyone. Find a cave and

hide out with the wolves for friends.
