Hello

A simple question. I have a leaking mixertap, I have replaced many a washer with a cold water tank system but never with a mega flow. Sadly I do not have any stop cocks near the mixertap so I shall be turning the water off at the stopcock and draining the system, or will the sealed nature of the megaflow stop any water escaping ?

I just want to know if it is okay to drain the megaflow tank and do I need to do anything to the megaflow afterwards; will I need to bleed the air out of it or anything else.

Many thanks

turn supply off, open tap till water stops, change washer, turn back on, job done.

as above, turn off stopcock - open tap til water stops and replace washer - the megaflow won't drain :)

There will be a valve on the inlet of the megaflo - turn this off and the hot water will still come out of the hot tao for quite some time (in fact, if it doesn't, then the air bubble in it needs re-charging).

Eventually (could be minutes) the water flow will stop, then you can change the washer.
