In cold weather my combi ( approx 4 years old )will not fire up from the time clock ( which has been replaced recently), the only way i can fire the boiler is pressing advance on the time clock, or by switching the boiler on and off at the mains, then it will run up to the next off time on the clock..any ideas ?

I also have this problem, was advised to change air pressure switch but this didnt fix the fault. Still have a problem where the boiler fails to light first thing in the morning from the time clock, yet cycle the mains and the damn thing bursts into life, which means a walk in the early morning cold to get the heating on. Any new info please pass on. Will do the same
