I'm renovating a property and on the second floor I have a window which is currently at the top of the stairs, however I want to move the staircase and extend the bedroom into this extra space, this would put the landing window into the bedroom.
The window is 1550mm high with the top half openable and has toughened dg glass (window is approx 2 years old)
the bottom of the window is about 6.5 metres from the ground outside.
Not sure what the regs are for windows at this level off the ground and there is no protected escape route.
