The DC100 has 17 torque settings as well as a hammer mode, it also has 2 speed range settings but the speed can also be controlled via the trigger, making it a powerful drill. The drill also has an LED which illuminates the area you are drilling when the drill is in use.
The motor of the DC100 is fan cooled and the brushes are replaceable. The drill comes with 2 x 1.3Ah Ni-Cd batteries, along with a 1 hour charger. Having multiple batteries is a great advantage and prevents work from grinding to a halt while re-charging takes place.
