Get away to fck, anyone who skimps to the extent these guys do regarding their own safety, couldn't be trusted not to skimp in the 1001 areas which the customer either won't know about or see to save a few more dollars.
I'm still waiting for you to point out what is so glaringly wrong with the job, based upon those photos.

Basically all you have done is squirm and hide behind "they take risks so their work must be bad" blarney.

Stop hiding behind your mates and man-up. YOU tell me what is wrong with the work, boyo.

You need to go to specsavers boyo if you think that wall's acceptable. Says a lot for your own standards boyo. Throw some render over it and it'll be fine. You probably would let this crew work on your own house come to think of it. You don't know any better................................................................................................................................................................................................................boyo.

I have not said one way or the other what I think of their work or whether or not I think it acceptable..

However, I am in a position where I can actually make informed decisions.

Please point out where YOU think the work lacks in quality and stop squirming boyo, it's embarrassing.

How about instead of a pile of insults you detail exactly what you believe is wrong?

On the H&S issues - couldn't agree more. Any behaviour like this on our sites and it's leave and don't come back. But bad H&S doesn't necessarily mean bad work

As far as I'm aware, the Empire State building is still standing despite ......

Nice brickwork  Looks like they're getting the job they've paid for, and deserve.
Are you completely fckin stupid?

As the thread appears to be going in two directions here's my contribution to cat proportion. When core drilling, always check the exit side of the wall for obstructions....

Nosey, what bond have they used in that brickwork ?
Stretcher bond. Doesn't look like there are any header courses.

Should be a header course every sixth course. They may have used tie wires but I doubt it.

I thought it was built with snapped headers because the photo's aren't' that clear.

My work must be 5hit because I break elf n safety rules almost every day.

It's just the obtuse angle.
If you count the blocks they tally up with the stretcher bricks.

I'm not a brickie, so can I ask a question please?
If it's a cavity wall, why would anyone use a course of headers (or snapped headers)? I thought headers were useful in tying together two adjacent layers of bricks as in English garden wall bond, but what advantage is there of using headers rather than stretchers in a normal cavity wall?
