Theresa May is still leader because nobody wants to take on a poisoned chalice.
May was and still is a remainer and is bumbling along with a fudge to keep both sides at bay far enough to avoid outright challenge. The party hasnt split because of the threat that a complete breakdown could let in a Labour government, so the votes have gone through.....so far.
Labour are sitting on the fence because they dont to pick a side and alienate a portion of their vote. In any case they are hoping Brexit will cause a Tory meltdown.
My guess is there will be a leadership change or election, either in October or after March.
Failure of Chequers seems pretty inevitable and May cant stay if that happens.......although It could squeeze through as some huge fudge.
Labour now have a 3 to 1 ratio remain to leave so I reckon Corbyn should back a peoples vote and stop fence sitting
As opposed to the remoaners who must be brainless to still think the EU is not a sinking ship..yet have no balls or gumption to leave...instead let's just stay aboard until the whole EU is knackered....then leave!!Merkel cannot unite her own country never mind Europe
