How much do Transco charge for moving the gas meter? It's currently up on the wall just inside the front door and i want it stuck in a box outside. I reckon the work involved would be minimal, seeing as its a move of about 10 feet at the most.

You might find it less expensive to get a local CORGI to make the customer-side changes and only have Transco install the box and connect to the main. All depends how much of a 'dig' is needed. EG. Your chosen location for the outside box might be just where the main enters the house???
