I have a Potterton Kingfisher II CF50 in my kitchen/diner. It's in a vented cupboard and the flue appears to be fine however there is no air brick in the kitchen/ diner. What size air brick do I need to get please?

At least 57cm² ( 9in²) to outside

and two further vents in the compartment.

One low level, should be 352cm² (56in²)

and one at high level at least 176cm² (28in²)

Or 14 square inches high and 28 inches low if vented direct to outside from the cupboard,

So if venting fro the room you would be better with a louvre door on the cupboard

Err.. I`d check over that statement if I were you. ;)

Why what has he got wrong bamber if he is on about venting into room and then vent to outside

So yes, I've checked it over.

Providing the compartment is to a room and not directly to outside, the statement, as far as I can read, is correct (to the book in fact).

Is there something I'm missing?
