I know you can get a 3amp type B MCB, but does anyone know if there is such a thing as a 3amp RCBO type B?

MEM ones only, AFAIK

others might be available as special order

The Vigi modules done by the Schneider group Telemecanique allow you to convert their range of MCB’s to RCBO’s and there are variable overloads and RCD’s but the rules say ordinary persons must not be able to alter these devices so the panel has to be locked and they are not normally used in Domestic consumer units.

the MEM ones, once snapped together, are supposed to be permanently fixed.

with special skill and tools, however...

It seem to be more hassel than it's worth, so I'll stick with using a 6amp B-type RCBO.

Thanks for your replies. It was a useful exercise.
