anyone know of anywhere online that you can buy the direct copper cylinders which have the built in header tank? The sort you see a lot in flats which don't have gas.

I've had a look around but no luck, just want an idea of price really

cheers

expensive buggers aren't they?

I think i may try and get the old immersion out again, customer is rather skint. I think the cylinder will give up the ghost before it gives up the immersion though :(

yeah i've got a decent immersion spanner

i gave it a good go earlier but my fear is if i apply any more pressure it's going to permanently damage the cylinder.

the immersion has been there quite a long time by the looks of it.

Get your rothy on it and let it have some heat, dont try to pull your spanner, sharp blows to get it to move and away you go.

Patiance not brute force

i did actually give it some heat but i'll try again

btw, what's the rationale behind not draining it first?
