I certainly wouldn't be writing home about her... I'd be a little too busy with her to write to ANYONE!

Rubbish! Zampa, there is nothing especially clever about studying for a degree. You apply yourself to a subject you are interested in. What could be easier than that? If you really do want to do a degree, you really do want to be a Designer/Graphic Artist then look to take a degree in that. The words 'really want to do' are the key. If you 'really want to do it' then you can. Anyway, I've seen your posts and been the subject of your ridicule, you're obviously an intelligent lad. Life's WAY TOO SHORT... give it a go, what you got to loose? A few hours each week studying a subject you're interested in? Hell, you could get a student loan (depending on your circumstances and the type of degree you study for), and if you're not earning over £15,000 I think it is, then you don't pay it back until you are earning that and even then it's interest free and payable in instalments.

Here come all the... "Well my degree was very demanding and I really struggled but I got there through hard work and commitment" brigade.... trouble is, I know all that, what I am trying to say is, if you 'really want it', from my limited observation of your input on this forum, you really can do it!
