And what if you couldn't find one prepared to do that? Or if the Periodic Inspection that he did turned up problems with things unrelated to what you did but which meant you should not have done your bit or your bit was therefore unsafe?

I dunno really! But if that is the case there is some sort of failure in this notification lark if you phone your local council and they tell you not to bother them till after the work has been done! In my case nothing else should be found as I had a recent PIR so providing I do I good job the only problem I'll have is finding an electrician or paying for theirs. But I think this system is flawed!

In my opinion that's all too often the case with all of them :roll: but it’s smarter & often easier to work with the flow & use it to your advantage than against it :wink:.

My days of "rebel without (or even with) a cause" are long since gone; that's life :lol:
