Easy to wire or a pain in the ass?
yes...
it depends entirely on what you're wiring it to and what make it is..
if it's just to the mains then it's just LNE.. if you then add a stat it depends on the stat.. zone valves and so on make it all more complicated..
Then there's remote boiler locations requiring feeds for timer / programmer control.
There's heaps of diagrams, just google the boiler model.

Yes easy to wire and more a cold shiver down the spine than a pain in the neck. The shivers come when you are in the shower having a nice hot shower when someone turns on a hot tap elsewhere in the house.
