Hi ive treated myself to a new microbore pipebender its a silverline and does 6 8 and 10 mm pipe. I know how to use a pipebender as I have one for 15 and 22mm, Ive tried all afternoon to bend a 10mm pipe for under a radiator and the silverline bender just crushs the pipe its as if the profile isnt big enough I put it on the largest profile which is 10mm, Im sure im doing it right as its the same as my other pipe bender but I dont want to look an idiot if i take it back and say it doesnt work lol. It doesnt look very well made to be honest and was wondering if anyone else has any problems with these microbore benders

Mine is crap too, if its any consolation...I can get a neater bend over my knee. I generally use my Mapp gas blowtorch as a former
John :)

Since you know how to use a 15/22 bender, why not use this to make the required parallel offset on 15mm and connect to microbore under the floor

its a bungalow and the pipes are coming from the loft in the wall and coming out at the back of the rad so need to make a 180 degree bend and just cant make it tight enough without the bender so it looks neat

Asa last resort u can put the 10mm copper inside a bit of 15mm Hep and bend it with your 15mm bender. It works a treat!!
