in other religions is there an equivalent to the devil as in Christianity?
I think religion has moved on since then. We all realise the world is no longer flat.We don't 'need' to use 'God did it' to explain earthquakes.etc
Love, anger, happy and sad are evolutionary functions that still are very much needed.
Our 'love' helps us find a partner and stay with them long enough to raise our offspring, Happiness is evolutions 'carrot' (of the carrot and stick).
Anger helps us when we have things that could cause us harm, and sad is the 'stick'.
skitz to advise, surely. Greeks had it (Hades and all that jazz)in other religions is there an equivalent to the devil as in Christianity?
I think you'll find that you're wrong on this one noseall]

Out of interest, how do you know a rock doesn't have a belief? After all, isn't it written somewhere about a church being built upon a rock. Seems pretty conclusive evidence to meA rock doesnt have belief, SKITZ are you trying to be funny or logical here, im starting to doubt you have a masters in anything
"A rock doesnt have belief"....so if it doesn't have a belief...then it can't believe in god(s)...and anything that doesn't believe in god(s) is atheist.
It is logic. Sorry
Maybe they were stoned. D'OhBut I asked some, "Any rocks that have belief cry out now.." and none did
Alsheating im guessing but you i reckon you have been brought up all your life in a specific religion.
NOTHING anyone could say will ever disuade you from your religious viewpoint no matter how valid , or well thought out or clear the argument is.
Yet i think you may have Doubts hence you starting a thread like this.
You talk like someone trying to convince himself of his own beliefs and your lack of knowledge about so many things you call scientific is really quite apparent.
