Cant beat good old Socialist Labour principles, eh? I also notice he'd rather line his own pocket than try and help save his party from getting wiped out at the election.
Well said - and for the first time since 1972 I`ll be voting Tory At least Thatcher stated what she was going to do to the countryCant beat good old Socialist Labour principles, eh? save his party? half the people in the country hate that party... it's high time we all fought for the same cause... make Britain better.
Socialist Labour Principles don't exist anymore do they? we live in a different world these days...

Well said Lincs Bodger.
What a lot of people don't realise is that when Arthur Scargill led the miners out on strike, the only people to lose money were the members of the NUM. They never asked themselves ,,How much will Arthur Scargill lose ?
Short answer,, He lost absolutely nothing. He was getting paid by the NUM whilst it's members were struggling.
Other Unions are the same. Members may well go on strike, but the union leaders still get paid.
Was Scargill the bloke with the weetabix hairdo.Well said Lincs Bodger.

Scargill was a moron.
He used the Miners Union as a weapon in his own personal animosity against Thatcher. His abilities as a union leader were laughable. He started a coal strike at the end of winter when demand for coal was dropping off, and stockpiles of coal at power stations were at an all time high. Then he expected ordinary members to live on strike pay for months until next winter when the coal started to run out.. What an idiot, the words 'p**s up' and 'brewery' spring to mind.
He was a typical looney left trotskite obsessed with hatred for other peoples better fortune, and as you point out, just like labours looney left, it was one rule for him and one for the ordinary people. He will go down in history as a hypocrite and an idiot.
