Because once upon a day, under the tories, the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. However, under New Labour, that also happens under them as well. This is because New Labour are but Tories in Labour clothes.

I notice Blair is now worth £25M and he just made £350,000 for 4 hours work at the weekend. Cant beat good old Socialist Labour principles, eh? I also notice he'd rather line his own pocket than try and help save his party from getting wiped out at the election.

Ill make a prediction as well. I predict after May 7th the slimy toad Mandelson will switch parties to the LibDems if they have the power and Labour are nowhere. There no honour amongst thieves.

save his party? half the people in the country hate that party... it's high time we all fought for the same cause... make Britain better.

Socialist Labour Principles don't exist anymore do they? we live in a different world these days...

I hope that slimey toad Mandelson, gets thrown out after the General Election. Already been thrown out of politics twice. Should never have been let back in at all. Typical of Labour though,,, Jobs for the boys and the old school tie, ehh. Half the party send their kids to private schools now, yet complain about private education everytime there's a debate about education, saying it's elitist etc etc. Bunch of hypocrites the lot of them.

Ruth kelly has just bought herself a £2 million house so that she can get her kids into a top private school.
She is also a member of Opus Die, she has to wear a garter with a spike in it to pierce her thigh, something to do with jesus's crown of thorns i think,
What is it about roman catholics And kinky rituals

I heard the other day that Tony Blair has put his money into offshore accounts in Belize so he pays no UK tax. Wouldn't put it past him.

Thats right. Thatcher was a conviction politician. She had a set of principles and she stuck to them, and when she said something you knew it was the truth, unlike brown and blair, two of the biggest liars in uk political history. She said she was going to break the unions, and thats exactly what she did. She said we were going to retake the falklands, and thats what she did. And she said she was going to expand house ownership, and thats exactly what she did. No spin, no lies, no BS. The last honest politician we had.

Well said Lincs Bodger.
What a lot of people don't realise is that when Arthur Scargill led the miners out on strike, the only people to lose money were the members of the NUM. They never asked themselves ,,How much will Arthur Scargill lose ?

Short answer,, He lost absolutely nothing. He was getting paid by the NUM whilst it's members were struggling.
Other Unions are the same. Members may well go on strike, but the union leaders still get paid.

Scargill was a moron.

He used the Miners Union as a weapon in his own personal animosity against Thatcher. His abilities as a union leader were laughable. He started a coal strike at the end of winter when demand for coal was dropping off, and stockpiles of coal at power stations were at an all time high. Then he expected ordinary members to live on strike pay for months until next winter when the coal started to run out.. What an idiot, the words '**** up' and 'brewery' spring to mind.

He was a typical looney left trotskite obsessed with hatred for other peoples better fortune, and as you point out, just like labours looney left, it was one rule for him and one for the ordinary people. He will go down in history as a hypocrite and an idiot.

Not voting, again, I'm a NOTA, so I can't complain who gets in, but then I don't care.

Tony Blairs kids have Irish passports, he has turned Roman Catholic, he let the IRA out of jail.

It could be the beginning of a conspiracy theory. does he keep his money in Ireland to avoid tax :?:

Sir Philip Greene owner of 'British Home stores' lives in Monaco part time to avoid paying millions in tax, Yet Blair gave him a Knighthood allegedly because he employs loads of Brits, but didn't 'British' Home stores employ loads of Brits before Greene took it over.
