(no probs wotan - there should be an emoticon for a handshake - i think a Y is quite a good letter... there may not be many Y words in the dictionary... but we can use names, company names etc...and then extend words. e.g. yellow -> yellowish -> yellowness :wink: )

I can see your point, but where do you draw the line? adulterating words must have a limit, otherwise anything would do, though I can accept the example you have indicated e.g. yellow-> yellowish and other examples along the same lines, I have tended to use just words in the concise oxford dictionary. :lol:
