I have a bathroom to fit, everything is already out so it's just a case of dropping the bath in, hanging the basin and WC. All pipes are ready with isolation valves ready for me to pipe from. Pretty simple but I'm wondering what price to give, i'm in the merseyside area.
What should I charge to fit like for like bathroom?

Quote what your happy with, if they accept the quote it doesn't matter how much it is, if they aint happy they get other quotes and go with who they are happy with, thats business.
If you haven't allready, you need to work out your running costs, your accountant may be of some help, forget what you got paid working for an employer, there is no comparison.

Thanks (both of you) it's just that I've been away from the plumbing game for about 18 months now and just getting into it again. I had a price of £250 -labour only- in my head because I reckon it'll only take a day. As regards to letting the job go to someone else if they aren't happy with my quote it's a no no as there will likely be more from this customer. As I said I'm just getting back into it and could really do with the work.
A lot of my jobs are really small but it suits me just fine plus by accepting the small jobs I've suddenly found myself very popular as a plumber who will come out for a dripping tap. But I'm struggling when it comes to pricing my jobs so expect to read more posts from me in the future.
Anyway for this bathroom I'll throw a £300 price in which I'm sure they'll take, I reckon it's fair and at the same time not undermining the trade. Roll on Monday!

Ha ha, I'm not expecting £300 every day of the year I just figure it's a reasonable price for the job which lucky for me will (in theory) take just a day. It'd be the same price if it ran to 2 days which it mght, but I doubt it.

As I said, running costs, example, who is disposing of the old suite?
if you take it you have to have a waste carriers licence "and" pay to tip it, and your time fuel to take it and dispose of it comes into the price,
it's cost me £65.00 at the tip and a couple of hours of my time to dispose of bathroom rubbish in the past.

pedantivinictiveman i don`t do many bathroom suite when i do tend to off load at local colledge no need to go tip then and pay for disposal
A mini skip is 45 - 50 and a midi around 70. Less hastle and tax deductable.

You will find that if you eat a Kit Kat on the job, the wrapper becomes "trade" waste, and if you carry it in your vehicle, no matter where you take it, you need a "Waste Carriers Licence" from the Environment Agency, doesn't matter what you carry it in, car, van, tipper, pushbike, or where you take it, up to £5000.00 fine and or imprisonment if they go for you.
Get customer to dispose of it for you or have a skip, of course make sure your "Public Liabilty" is up to date cause if someone hurts themself you will be liable, my re-newal has just come in at £341.25

Obviously this relies on the OP having bathroom installs 5 days a week, 52 weeks per year. And of course, by saying 'for a days work', you seem to be thinking the 300 notes are all for wages? If only life was so simple!

There are plenty of unforseen complications that can emerge when doing a simple like for like swap - it assumes that the original was fitted ok, no leaks, kinked pipes, loose tiles, blockages, rotten joists etc etc - when is a job a blue sky scenario?
