Following a visit to my Doctor a couple of weeks ago, I received a letter from the hospital telling me to attend for an 'Cystoscopy' tomorrow.

Have just (foolishly) looked Cystoscopy up on Google and am now thinking of cancelling the appointment first thing in the morning.

Anyone had one, does it hurt?

How big is that fookin camera?

john it only takes 2 or 3 minutes under local, with a slightly different version of that camera in the photo, which is used in theatre when unconscious.the camera that will bring tears to your eyes has a flexible end

They push a load of anesthetic cream up first but if you are that worried get a magic marker and write 'handle with care' on it. The camera is about the diameter of a large biro and doesn't hurt just a bit uncomfortable.
