Rads Not Getting Hot

and what does this achive? Thanks

Just becuase the impellor is spinning does not neccessarily mean the pump is working.

Ok so how do you fully check if its working? Is there anything else I can try before removing the pump?

Have you done what Ive asked?

Ah, I miss read your post sorry P46.

I'm not there now so will get my brother to try this. So if you can stop the shaft with your finger does this mean that the pump isn't working to its full capacity? Would it need replacing?

Probably yes.

The impellor can break away from the shaft of the pump - so it feels like its working.

I'm out of touch with Vokera, tho I used to install them.

Is this a combi? Are you getting hot water? If so, the pump must be OK. It could be a diverter valve, or simply a closed isolation valve. Are your controls calling for central heating [and why do you want it in August anyway?].
