Hi all
I have an existing 16mm2x4c (3phase&N) cable feeding a DB in an old work shop office that will be refurbed to accommodation Will I be able to use the cable as a single phase 16mm supply for a new DB :?: I would also need to extend the run by about 6mts would a joint kit be ok or should I use an isolator

Personally I would install a 3-phase isolator and then just insert a single fuse in one of the phases to supply the accomodation.

This allows for further expansion in the future and is also easier to do than a joint.

Thanks for the answer, but if i install a 3p&n isolator will the swa windings serve as an earth for the bonding etc?
