Hi all, we have a heatline vizo boiler, it was only installed last week and has been working fine, it has the correct size pipes to it too. This morning however the pressure on it has dropped really low and as such it wont ignite so we are without heating and hot water. There are several pipes coming from below the boiler with different coloured valves on them, one red, one yellow and two blue. Does anyone know which one changes the pressure? Sorry to be so dim but we are so broke and just do not have the money to call a plumber out to it. Any help would be gratefully received, please no sarcastic comments. Many thanks in advance.

ther should be a braided hose between two pipes.cold main and a heating pipe.with either a quarter turn valve or a ballofix(turn with a scredriver)
the installer may have removed the hose and capped the pipes.
turn on slowly untill 1.5bar bleed rads and top back up.
its very pos you have a leak though so i would be calling the installer back

There is a braided pipe which is connected to the pipe at the boiler with a red valve, however when opening the red valve nothing at all happens, following this particular pipe down there is a screw with a flat head style top and an electrical tag underneath and directly after another screw the same with a green and yellow wire coming from it. The braided bit seems to then join the pipe with red valve to the pipe with blue valve. Really sorry for not explaining it better.
If we call the plumber back out, he charges a call out fee and it may sound cheap but we are very short on money at the moment so just cant afford to. Any other ideas?

Thanks both for your help! Have deduced from what you have both said that the bit I described as having no tap on it actually should have a tap on it, so I gripped it with some pliers and turned it and alas we have life and a decent pressure again. Thank you so much. I just know the plumber would have charged a call out fee and would have made more of it that was, your advice is invaluable and Im very appreciate to you for sharing your knowledge.
Are those white taps readily availble in the likes of wickes and b and q? Think would be wise to go and get one!

The installer should have shown you how to repressurise and how to set the controls on the boiler.
Presumably he did not complete the Benchmark certificate either?
He probably did not notify Building Control either!

I certainly wouldn't have charged you a call out on a boiler I had just fitted
I would have tried to talk you through topping up first though, over the 'phone, but if you hadn't grasped it I would have come back

reading all of your advice sadly doesn't seem to help me. I too have 4 valves on show [L to R] Red Yellow Blue and Blue. there is also a flexible tube which runs from underneath the boiler on the left hand side across to the right hand side but does not seem to connect to any other valve. As well as this I have been looking for a white valve/screw along the flexible tubing but cannot find it at all. is there any other way of re pressurising my boiler?
