Hi Folks,
Turned my heating on for the first time this year and we get hot rads but no hot water. In fact the water is cold.

We have an immersion heater so it's not a big deal , but would be nice to know how to sort it.

Worcester boiler is approx 25 years old and oil fired. Normally you cannot have CH without DHW as well.

Cheers

If its the Heatslave type, probably the motor on top of the diverter valve has gone AWOL. With the top off the boiler you should be able to see it, front, just above the water pump.
John :)

Damn your good!

You only had to reply and it's started working

I think we'll pray to the Worcester God's and hope it behaves itself.

Many thanks for the rapid reply
