Help required with 2G1W lightswitch

Just checked the wires...you are right that they are situated in pairs.

Unfortunately, the 2 cables are not marked...so I just have 2 brown, 2 blue and 2 earth.

How can I tell which of the blues is the live and which is the neutral? Will it do any harm to just try a combination? I assume that the Cons Unit will just trip if I have them wrong and then I could switch the blues?

Without test equipment we will have to assume that of the two browns at the wall light one of them will be linked back tothe switch - other one will link to your next light.
So the two browns go into one side of the terminal block marked L - the wall light brown goes into the other side. The two blues go into the terminal block marked N - the wall light blue goes into the other side and the same for the earth.
You should make sure that all the other cables are put into terminal blocks because some of them will be live when you switch on.

Tried and now working fine.

Thx for your help

That's good news - now when you put the switch back (I assume it is a metal switch) don't forget to connect the earth terminal on the back of the switch with the earth terminal at the back of the box - keep safe.
