Stuart Turner are just round the corner from me, they were shut at 2:30pm today. In a few minutes I'll be off to the Bird in Hand - just across the road from the factory - if any of the ST guys are in the pub, and still conscious, I'll have them go back to work

Why would they stamp "150v" on a motor to indicate 1 phase, 50Hz?

It probably stated Phase/Frequency beside the box where the numbers are stamped, then the box 1 50, then after the box v then another box 230

So

Phase/Frequency (1 50) V (230)
