Any idea where you would be able to buy a new board from, rather then changing the capacitors, as ive got little soldering exp

A new board would probably cost more than the cost of a replacement set, but try the manufacturer, Maplin, CPC?
The ethos of the manufacturer is that it is cheaper to mass produce sets, than to fix a single one that is broken. Sad times. Hence why so many skills are being lost, in repair, and remanufacture. Replace a component, rather than a board is lost. No veng diagrams to follow, to enable repair. Waste. If this circuit works, what does that one do, if that does that, what does this do...lost. Sadly.
