yeh looks like the sparkys have got the right to print money now with there certs, youve gotta have this and that signed off ect, i wanna move as well, but cant for 4 years as i will lose the discount, i begrudge spending money on it if im honest because i dont want to be here, all the plasterwork here has been done by a monkey the reveals are all over the place ive straightened 3 up as best i can but the next one is terrible as nomatter where u put the straight edge its out, i think the whole wall needs going back to brick but then i would have to pay a gasman to take the heater off the wall so not sure what im gonna do there, good luck with your move if u get it

ohhhhhhhh.........corse you did haha ill beleive ya. did you get the floor sorted in the kitchen in the end??
as you can see in the facebook vid i kangoed the wonky screed off i will be screeding it with self leveling compound, it will be my first floor screed with that stuff, ill do that once the kitchens skimmed

its not all grarft m8
latexing is **** if its all primed up and you got the right gear

let us know how you get on with the latexing mate
yeah im gonna post pics the sparkeys been 2day got chases everywhere also just opened up an air vent that was being used with a an extractor fan in, i took the fan out to discover the ceiling plasterboard travels all the way along the top, ive sorted another 3 vents out by restoring them but this one looks a bit tricky, not sure what im gonna do yet as i told the sparky not to put a fan in im gonna use the vent so now ive got to make it good

I had to latex part of a floor someone had screeded.I layed a 6 foot level across the floor to find the low point, i was eating a bag of maltesers, dropped 1 and it rolled under the level , shows how bad that screed was.

so what did you do with the low spot did you fill it first b4 screeding the whole floor? or did u start pouring the screed at the low point you found with the malteser? to fill the low point b4 spreading it over the high point ?

I filled the low point with latex, with chippings added, then ran latex from the other side to take out the high point.

Great stuff jr, would still like to meat the numpty that laid the floor.
