Hi all
I can see the benefit of using say http://www.screwfix.com/p/triton-bar-mixer-fixing-for-buit-in-pipes/93675 but it also seems a lot of money to pay for something that I would have thought would be quite simple for the competent diyer to sort out?
I've got a heavy Triton Mixer and it's going into aqua panel/stud wall.
I was thinking along the lines of putting in a bit of 6x2 in-between the studs with cut outs going up the back of the 6" for the vertical pipe, soldered elbows and then putting those through holes drilled in the 2" section, if that makes sense.
A rough drawing looking at it from the back (ie, standing in the room at the other side of the partition wall to bathroom, looking towards bathroom)
That would mean the pipes couldn't be pulled out into the bathroom.
Sensible idea or should I just spend the money on the brackets (can probably get brackets for around £40 if I hunt around, still seems a lot for what they are)
many thanks
