Just an update - Thanks to all that helped!!!!!!!!!!!

All sorted, and all working fine. After a thorough check, it seemed there was a problem (earth leakage) on the double oven; top grill to be exact. I simply un-installed it, took the oven to another property which didn't have RCBO's, wired it up to the cooker point, turned it on and it worked absolutely fine. Operated the entire oven (both ovens and grill) for a few days, then re-installed it.

The RCBO's are no longer tripping so I suspect the grill element to have been dried out. I've ordered a new element for both the oven and the grill but am comfortable using it until the replacements arrive.

My - what a fantastic fault diagnosis technique.

Take a suspect appliance and try it in somebody else's house where they don't have the safety systems designed to operate when a faulty appliance is used.

2. The "suspect" was installed, NOT "tried out" in one of MY properties, again, by one of your lot!
3. I was told that earth leakage is not a fault

Daj, here you go again. You are your own worst enemy.

Moving a suspect faulty cooker to another property in an attempt to diagnose a fault (especially and earth fault) is a spectacularly silly thing to do. Though I have to say it could be material for a comedy sketch.

All you had to do (which still would have been wrong and unsafe) was to bypass your RCD device with two bits of wire.

What you actually should have done was either perform an insulation test on the oven or (and this is preferred) call the supplier to fix the oven!!!

This is not rocket science but thanks for the comedy material!!!
