My electrician asked me to but an isco. Have I spelt this wrong as can't find anything online - it's a junction box type device, I think! Also need to get connection plates to fit on to std back boxes - the type where an appliance connects directly into it which has a feed from a fused spur. Again, can't seem to find them, are they called something else? And lastly, single service boxes, to encase connector strip joins???

Did he mean a Wiska?

(Switched or not) Fused Connector Unit. (S)FCU

Just a normal back box with a blank cover.

Why is your electrician not supplying his own materials?

Presumably if he is looking for an ISCO then he is looking for an ISCO and not the myriad of completely different things people have mentioned.

I have a few if the price is right.

They can often be found on eBay.

And, of course, perfectly acceptable alternatives can be found behind the counter and on the website of every wholesaler in the land.

I believe ISCO is a brand name or manufacturer of a typical "Henley Block" or "Service Connector".

It sounds like you also want some "Flex Outlet Plates".
