Why the title 'Religious 'freaks''?

Does the O.P. feel that ALL religious people are freaks?
...or just church-goers? Or believers in the unexplained like love for instance?
Or perhaps those who may utter the words "please God don't let my child die" ?
Just as narrow minded is the stereotype about Hell being hot. Hell i'm assuming is anybodies idea of what is most horrible. For instance, a person who has a phobia about spiders would feel like they were in hell, should they be confined to a room full of 'em.
This topic has been done to death and will end in the moronic mumblings of the armchair heroes that have plenty to say but have not got a clue.

I agree lock it out, we've done the vote, 100% non believers due to the fact that i cant spell aethiest.

I don't think it should be locked but I agree with your points noseall. I asked why 'freaks' earlier but was ignored.
Sorry Blas, it's a sort of inhouse joke with me and my sister, my mother has gone, but she assured me she would be back when armageddon arrives, my sister says its iminent, so if you've any unfinished jobs now would be a good time to do them.

People should be aloud to believe what they want whether it makes no sense at all or not as far as I'm concerned. As long as its consenting adults able to make an informed decisions I've no problem. Unfortunately the religious don't leave it there.
What I don't agree with is preaching at people about it, nor do I agree with brainwashing children at an early age. I view preaching as talking at people until your words are coming out of their mouths, bluntly its spiritual rape.
For obvious reasons religion should be kept well away from government and children.
